Forager Elementary is a progressive, mixed-age microschool located on the Sonoma - Mendocino coast of Northern California. Redwood forests, tidepools, meadows, and coastal trails are an extension of our classroom and an essential part of how our students learn and explore. Rooted in a philosophy of inquiry, creativity, and hands-on learning, we blend academic instruction with open-ended exploration and real-world problem solving. We believe children learn best when they feel seen, capable and deeply connected to their environment and community.

We are seeking a warm, collaborative Elementary Associate Teacher to support learning in literacy, math, science, art, and social-emotional development. This role involves guiding small groups, co-creating lessons with the lead teacher, and fostering a joyful, inclusive classroom community. We are also seeking a Classroom Aide who brings warmth, flexibility, and a genuine love of working with children to support our teachers with daily classroom activities.
