Math 1 - Oakwood School is seeking a long-term substitute Mathematics teacher (grades 7-9) for the rest of the 2025-26 school year. This is a full-time position for the period from December 1 through June 15, with the possibility of continuation into the 2026-27 school year. The specific teaching assignment for the 25-26 school year will consist of two Accelerated Pre-Algebra classes (grade 7) and two Algebra 1 classes (grade 9). We are seeking candidates with years of experience teaching college-preparatory mathematics, using a variety of curricular resources. We seek a candidate who can support the development of sound mathematical practices in an organized, student-centered, and encouraging classroom environment.

This is a full-time position for the period from January through early June, with the possibility of continuation into the 2026-27 school year. The specific teaching assignment for the 25-26 school year will consist of two on-level Pre-Algebra classes (grade 7) and two Algebra 2 classes (grades 9-10). We are seeking candidates with years of experience teaching college-preparatory mathematics, using a variety of curricular resources. We seek a candidate who can support the development of sound mathematical practices in an organized, student-centered, and encouraging classroom environment.
