About Ashlee

Ashlee Gutierrez (she/her) served as a teacher, principal, and district leader in public, parochial, and charter schools before joining the BATTI team. Her doctoral research focused on humanizing, decolonial leadership pedagogies. Nerding out on ed theory is one of her favorite activities! She lives in Emeryville with her partner, Tom, who also works in education.
