Admissions

Our first priority deadline for applications is March 3, 2008.

Our second deadline is April 21, 2008.

After the second deadline, we will accept applications on a rolling basis, and accept students if there are spaces available in the program. Our cohort size limit is 30 students.

Requirements for Admission to BATTI:

1. Bachelor's Degree and transcript
2. 2.75 GPA or higher
3. Field Experience (See Admissions Handbook for more details)
4. Two letters of recommendation
5. Personal Statement
6. Resume outlining your relevant education and experience
7. Completion of the BATTI application form
8. Registration for the CBEST exam. Passing the exam is required before September 2008.
9. Registration for the CSET exam. Passing sections of the exam is required to start the program in September.
10. A $55 application fee, payable to Bay Area Teacher Training Institute
11. An interview
